LEO RISING
Written and Directed by Brandon Robinson-Connolly
Leo Rising is a contemporary parable of a young northern lad (and the men around him) as he encounters messy and unpleasant sticky happenings whilst questioning the purpose of his life as a gay fledgling in a small derelict Yorkshire town.
Looking at how young men communicate and navigate with each other in the absence of women, this new play is about the unheard and often overlooked voices of working class Yorkshire lads, highlighting unspoken and rarely depicted male health issues, including living with anxiety and experiencing panic attacks.
