Biography
Brandon is an early career theatre maker based in West Yorkshire.
Having previously trained with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, he went on to graduate with first class honours from Leeds Conservatoire, having been the first from his family to attend university and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Directing, returning to Leeds Conservatoire.
Brandon was selected from theatre makers across the country to form the inaugural OV Theatre Makers Company at The Old Vic in London and was the first recipient of Papatango Theatre Company’s Playwrights' Studio Funding.
He is a member of Graeae Theatre Company’s Writers Network and has worked as a dramaturg, supporting productions at The Young Vic and Seven Dials Playhouse.
Brandon directed the five-star (Yorkshire Evening Post) production of the new play Family First by Tyler Pickles and Dante Thomas, touring studio theatres and local community spaces across the UK.
As he is incredibly passionate and driven about creating work that enriches and challenges audiences, Brandon creates supportive, encouraging and creatively nourishing environments.
He has built a growing creative practice around showing people they have a place in the arts, that they matter, and they deserve to see themselves represented on stage.
